KOTFE Master Mode

I cant even get past the first silver enemy before dying in a few seconds. Playing as Commando Gunnery.

The damage small enemies do is ridiculous.

What level are you?
What tier is your gear?
What ilevel is your companion? (Unless you are at chapter 1 still)

Commando is one of the most viable classes to play this on.

That being said, some of the mobs are ridiculously overtuned (but that is mostly KOTET that frustrated me, not so much KOTFE).

Level 75, haven't checked my gear level but its above what should be good enough and i dont have a companion at this stage.

If that is still in the Hunt, just pop reflect shield. They do quite some damage but die rather quickly as well. It should give you enough time to burn down the droid (I think it was a droid), else use normal shield and biorestoration (and use the utilities correctly if necessary).

If you think this is hard, you are going to be in for a surprise with all the boss fights :D

For KOTFE & KOTET MM, you need to know how to play your class, about the defensive and offensive cooldowns and how to burn quickly. Some people swear by high ilvl of companions and that will definitely help. You also need to know what to do with what specific action. Interrupt is your friend. mobility to get out of conals/aoe's is a must-have. Use your CC, stuns and snares and pushbacks almost religiously.
It mostly boils down to "killing them first before they kill you".

And you will wipe, a LOT. Some chapters are fantastic, others are terrible, but it is a nice challenge indeed.

Umm yeah trolling.

You can't get to KOTFE witout a companion, if you jump there it gives you all the stater ones.

But in other note yes you need to be geared AF for Master mode.

It's not trolling.
The first round on the ship of Darth Marr is without companion, he will join you when you go down with the elevator. And he will be ilvl 40 immediately to make your life easier.

Yeah its a pita but being almost fully geared (Like 306) is a must for that.

I think you're being down-bolstered to 60 or 65 or something? KOTFE has been a while.
So primary and secondary stats are reduced, only tertiary stats (crit & alacrity) can actually "outlevel" the content. Else you are "max-geared" anyway, and bolster bolsters down to item rating ~228 iirc.
