Obtaining HK-55

So I was wondering how to go about obtaining HK-55. I noticed you can buy him on the cartel market and if It does affect your legacy as in other characters will get it or is it only on the character you unlock it with. Also, is there another way to get HK-55 instead of buying off of cartel market?

You'll get to enjoy the companionship of HK-55 in one of the KotFE chapters. The purchase you see on the market is about making the companionship permanent, through a bonus content between KotFE and KotET.

The unlock is legacy wide, thus the high CC price. If you don't already have access to the content through a time-limited subscription, no, there is no other way to get it other than the market.

You need to finish Chapter 9, then do the alliance alert To Find a Findsman. Then you can do the Arma Rasa alert to get HK back.
