How can i get the "Preferred player" Status?
Hello,

i heared i have to buy cartel coins with real money, but how much? Some websitey say at least 4$, but others say it does not matter. What happens if i buy the 2,40$ offer?

just subscribe for a month and then cancel the recurring subscription afterwards. you'll get your 30 days of subscription and then revert to preferred status. the big bonus comes with all the extra expansion content past Shadow of Revan.

The story content remains after the subscription lapses along with level 75.

You have to buy and use cartel coins, buy steam DLC (with a properly linked account), or have previously been a subscriber.

the least amount you can find on their website or here on steam is doing it.

So the 2.40$

Is $2.40 enough. I thought the minimum was $5?

5$/€ is actually a minimum. That is what most will tell at least.

Well iirc they said "anything". So you just need to buy anything from their shop for real money.
But hey, what a good time to find out if its 2.4$ or 5$! ;)

No. "Anything" is a marketing pitch and you need to buy a minimum for free accounts to be upgraded. Just like how EA tried to sell me Origin Access when I tried to buy swtor pack on Origin, when it actually does not include swtor.

That was a very helpful comment! Thx

Maybe that is what i do, because unlocking all the expansions and keep them sounds like a good deal

You would still have to subscribe again if/when they release a new expansion. That could be 2-3 years away though. You would get to play all the story updates until then. For example, there is one planned for December that's included as part of Onslaught.

If you want to cancel your sub before it renews again, you need to log into your account on their webpage and go to subscriptions, then scroll all the way down, there should be an option called "Cancel your subscriptions". If you are on the 60 day one off sub system, this option will not appear for you because it does not auto renew.

You can try using this link to cancel as well if you are having furuther issues, just make sure youre logged in: https://account.swtor.com/user/subscription/cancel
