Class story order.
With 8 unique class stories facing me in the character creation screen, I'm finding it difficult to decide which order I should play these classes in for maximum story enjoyment. any thoughts you can share to help a brother out? (No spoilers if you can help it please.)

Jedi Knight first. Its end happen last, for the most complete picture, and has arguably the greatest impact on subsequence stories. It directly leads to the Ilum arc, and KotFE to a lesser extend.

After you know how that part of the story play out, the rest are different viewpoints and the order does not matter much.

For KotFE and KotET, I recommend playing with a force class first. Make more sense.

This is a tough one... Because it also depends if you are going to do planetary storylines (and bonus series).

Also, it is not as if playing in a different order somehow "spoils" the story itself. It doesn't. But it may pop up inconsistencies or subjects that won't really be explained because you don't know. Honestly, most links are rather intricate, and since they play out at roughly the same time (the other stories still "happen" when you do yours), you will most likely see these small connections during a second playthrough :)

Since you don't want spoilers, all I can give are a few pointers like this without a reason:
Do Jedi Consular before Jedi Knight.
Do Sith Warrior after Jedi Knight.
Do Bounty Hunter before any republic class story.
Do the Sith Inquisitor after Sith Warrior.
Imperial Agent has many (light) connections to other class stories, do this one last.

confusing lol...
correct me if i am wrong. so from your description means the order are
Bounty Hunter > Jedi Consular > Jedi Knight > Sith Warrior > Sith Inquisitor and other classes does not have significant connection so play last, correct?

Story was tailored for JK anyway.

I made a guide for this. Hopefully this helps!

I know this doesn't really answer your question. But when it comes to control of Planets the crossover of Planetary control of the Empire and Republic only really differ with Taris. The Republic have it and the Empire takes it.

So really it doesn't matter where you begin. Playing each character type is just seeing the war from a different angle and particular story. The events are otherwise are the same.

The class stories all happen roughly concurrently and finish different parts of their stories at slightly different times. paul.vardaris' guide above is an interesting order to play the classes. There's also a couple more more in-depth timelines put together if you want to get into more chronological detail.

play the jedi knight first. it's the most iconic character hands down. the others are just antagonists and support cast, really.

if you haven't even started yet you have no way of knowing whether you'll actually enjoy the game enough to finish more than one class story.

It makes absolutely no difference which one you'll play first

Play the class the intrigues you the most. By the time your "done" with a character and move onto a different character you'll have forgotten everything about that previous character anyways

Neither of the classes have a significant impact on the story of other classes (even the link between a certain JK companion and JC story chapter 3 can be seen as an extension instead of impact or spoiler). So if you are worried about impact, any story order is fine. As I said before, they roughly happen at the same time, so one can even advocate playing all chapter 1's before continuing - though that is probably rather hard to remember :D
