PSA: Steam Log in flair reward and Shae Vizla companion for subs

If you log in between the 28th of August and the 5th of October you will receive a special Flair reward inspired by the Steam launch. If you are a subscriber during that time, you will additionally receive Shae Vizla as a companion for all your characters on your account.

most likely it will be like when they gave her out first time, any character u have will receive mail with a item to activate her and maybe any future characters also, i know when i make a new char i always get her in item in mail

Shae Vizla is one of the limited time subscription reward unlocks, so it's an account wide thing. As long as you are subscribed during the time, you should get it on all characters on your account, even those you start on a different server, years later.

Promotions are always available to all your characters regardless of when you created them. The promotion will be added to your account and works the same way codes work that you redeem on the website. You will receive promotional rewards ingame in your mail for all characters.

There is no pet. Flair is decorations for your portrait. Shae Vizla you should receive in your mail box as an item you can use to get her.

I have been playing since the closed beta and missed Every. Single. One. Of. These. Time. Exclusive. Bonuses.

I was subbed for the past 8 months or something and let my sub lapse last month due to the pandemic.

As your.sheepy said, you will receive these in your character mailbox. Once you get rewards like this, the next time you log into a character on your account, you will have a new system mail with some text and an item - in this case an item that summons Shae. When you create a new character, all these bonus mails come in one shot as soon as your character loads into the starter planet. This happens whether you are subscribed or not, as long as you've unlocked the reward for your account. In the case of the current event, as soon as you log into your account for the first time between 28 Aug and 5 Oct, as long as your account is subscriber and doesn't already have Shae, her unlock will get added to your account.

The Shae reward ends on October 5th, so you haven't missed it yet.

If you actually read the time stamp, you would have seen that I posted this thread before the official thread in the events section and I couldn't have known that they will update it. But since the forum section here on Steam seems to be completely confusing and toxic and you even receive a warning from Steam when you try to create a sticky FAQ to help new players, I will most certainly stay away from here from now on and not waste my time.

That shouldn't work like that... I guess they messed up something. Maybe check if you get the mail on your other characters now.

There is an occasional bug tht will show you an empty mailbox. The passage of time should fix it.
