Trading Card drops not working
I just noticed that card drops aren't working. I just purchased some cartel coins to unlock some collection items for an alt (something I think is a bit BS and should be unlocked for subs, but that's another conversation!) I had a look at the progress bar on card drop and it hasn't moved. :steamfacepalm:

Same here. Purchased 5500 CC pack from Steam and got zero cards.

I have played the game for 22 hours on steam so far and no drops either. There are listing on the community market but I think in general its bugged.

you dont get drops just for playing with it being F2P, you need to spend money in the in game store

I bought 1 month of subscribe from Steam, still did not receive any. They seem to be bugged somehow :jawafrown:

I have been subbed since 2013 and I am subbed on the game now while playing it on steam. There is no reason for the cards not to drop for me.

If you're not subbed to the game via Steam you wont get any card drops.

Incorrect, as others have said i am subbed via steam and got no cards. I know others' who have bought cartel coins and not got any cards.

My comment was to BigGeoffrey, not you- sorry. You also have to spend at least 9 USD to be eligible for card drops. But if you've just got a subscription and it's not via Steam, you definitely wont get card drops.

Pretty sure ppl who got cards on marketplace get it from booster packs, so far no "F2P" game ever dropped cards, only games you actually buy (not sub too that has a base f2p game).

f2p games gives card when you spent money to them at steam, but for SWTOR that is not currently working it seems, since we are not getting any even we pay :jawafrown:

How would they even get booster packs?

For F2P games, you need to unlock half the cards (4 for swtor) via spending money, then you need to get these cards to drop via playtime, then and only then you will be qualified for booster pack drops.

PS. Just remembered you can craft booster packs from gems. Still, there are like 90 packs for sale and hundreds of cards. I don't think they are all crafted.
