get the redux mod, gearbox is incapable of finishing a game with proper balancing and endgame content etc. This community overhaul fixes a lot of that and makes the game much more of a satisfying diablo-like looter

My opinion on this game is mixed. On one hand, it is more of the same Borderlands goodness if you're craving more of it - and has about as much polish as most of the other games in the series, now with actual melee weapons to use, and the ability to combine any two classes of your choice together. The jokes can be funny, although the structure of the plot is considerably worse than before - partially justified as it's Tina as the Bunker Master making stuff up as you go, for the most part.

The problem is, you get only one (frankly major) passive, two action skills, and a single skill tree per class. And because of the extremely low level cap (only 40 - never increased with DLCs either), you can't even max out both of them. Yet despite that, this game still managed to be one of the easiest games in the series - although that might be up to my own build, but who knows. Overall, the journey itself is still very enjoyable, despite the downsides.
The other absolutely enormous blow to this game is the absolute lack of postgame content. There is no TVHM or any other form of NG+. What you're supposed to do after beating the game is to run the Chaos Chamber over and over, which are procedurally-generated random encounters with a boss at the end, and if you do the Chaos Trial run, you can unlock a higher level of Chaos Mode (basically OP levels).

The problem? There's 100 Chaos Mode levels to get. And you unlock them one at a time. It takes hours of grinding to get to a point where you will start feeling an actual tangible difference in enemy power. You're supposed to just roll through samey crap over and over again, with no ability to rerun the game, and just grind endlessly. Very uninteresting.

And then there's the DLCs - oh excuse me, Gearbox calls them now PRCs, or "Post-Release Content". They're... more of Chaos Chamber. But with slightly different rooms, and a custom boss at the end, with some more custom loot.
They each will not take longer than half an hour to do a single run of. 10$ a pop. If they were free post-release content, they would still be pretty bad, but the fact that they are charging an actual price for them is just atrocious.

Overall, it's still a fun game to go through, just be aware this game has basically no tangible postgame whatsoever. Unfortunately with all of these issues, I simply cannot give this game a thumbs up.

My take on these terms of service changes is that I now have more hard drive space and I will not be playing another Borderlands game until these terms are changed. This also extends to the majority of Take-Two published games. Welcome to my ♥♥♥♥ list Take-Two, you've earned it.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

a hard one to review.
A fun game with solid gameplay mechanics, great loot, solid levels.
But suffers from weak characters, bland humor (for me at least, compared to Bl1 and 2) and a not so good story. It suffers from what BL3 had as issues.

The game's gameplay loop however is great, it feels like Borderlands, plays like borderlands and the amount of loot you get is great. as a looter shooter Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a solid title.

If you like this franchise i would get it on a sale.
If you like looter shooters, get it on a sale as well.

Maybe I'm just burnt out on this kind of game, but it wasn't bad or good. Just a generic looter shooter with some okay humour. Get it on a HEAVY sale if you enjoy Borderlands games, but at full price it was not worth it.

Uninstalled since the new EULA give's uncontrolled access to my computer. Love the Borderlands games, but will no longer be playing the games or giving money to these criminals.

Just get it when it's 75% off, install the redux mod and never play it vanilla and you''ll have a fun time.

The base game is very fun but the dlcs aren't good at all sadly. You should buy the game without dlcs

Yeah. I love Borderlands so ill recommend it.
Its got a better story than BL3, its fun, full of slap stick humor and memes and has great world design.
But it is small. The story is short. There are fewer legendary guns. And the end game is only 1 thing, a wave horde mode and boss fight.

Get in on a deep sale. In no way is this a $60 dollar game. 40 maybe. 30 OK, 20 yes. The dlcs are a joke. Gearbox please dont become EA
