Its sad they don't have an in-game banner letting you know this more clearly and showing which weekly cycle is currently ongoing.
I'm also waiting for the half price sdu price so I can get my last achievements.

thanks! i agree it would be helpful if they let you know. did you do the money glitch or did you just farm chaos chamber runs?

Actually I've been farming chests on the overworld on chaos lvl 35 + intense difficulty while watching youtube. But only after beating everything else so right now I only need another 60m to finish up (would be 120m without the event).

I would rather beat the game story another 2 - 3 times while grinding for cash than do any more chaos runs, simply not worth it.

As this achivement does not require any "Skill" (only grinding) I just downloaded a savefile from Joltzdude and got the achivement (The rest are 100% properly farmed by me). I think the money-scale in this game is not as good as the other Borderlands games... I think they should increase the money by a lot in higher chaos levels (Currently at chaos 20 and the money is not as high as needed).

I think its an artificial way to increase the playtime of the game. Its a pity, because the story is nice, however, the end-game is tedious and very grindy.

Main issue sort of is that the SDU cap (amount of levels) is the same as BL3~ But in that game the max level is 72 iirc, which means the level 72 weapons sell for MUCH more then our lvl 40 weapons.

For example Pistols and SMG's are one of the worst things you can collect to sell since their value is so low. A BL3 lvl 72 legendary Pistol on Mayhem 10 is worth around 100-130k
While one in Wonderlands is something like 5k

Even with 50% off event its a huge grind

BL2 is even better because SDU cost Eridium which can be easly farmed (Henry, etc.). As for Wonderlands for me Overworld method works. I'm chaos level 56 or something and this give ma 228% money drop. Single run on whole world map (chests, barrels, wells) gives me around 4 - 5 millions and takes something like 10 - 15 minutes max. I'm doing one or two runs every two or three days (sh*t is so tedious) slowly going to my goal.
If you have enough patience and Monster Energy you can go 20 world map runs in 3 - 4 hours before you puke - that gives 80 - 100 millions (40 - 45 without chaos levels); all SDUs combined cost around 360 millions if I remember it right. If you don't have any chaos levels you can easly go up to 10 or 20 solo, it's boring, but gives tons of purple and orange gear to sell and boost overall cash drops. You can hoard money and wait for half price weekends.
Seriously tho... Who needs 23 levels of Bank SDUs?

I'm chaos 57 or so. Doing chaos runs have been somewhat decent for money, while also getting gear. But getting +1 chaos level per trial trying to get to 100 is quite tedious
Also done some runs with a melee build using the pickaxe that gives gold on each hit. That also really helps since each bag is modified by your chaos level.

Next half price is in like another 2½ weeks *sigh*
I could 'easily' grind out my last 10 bank levels in that time, but its going to be mind numbing :p

How exactly do you even see when it is (other than knowing when it was and counting)?

There is 5 different events, so its a 5 week rotation
