hey fellow gamer's. I have played all of the borderlands games ect 3 and this one.
I have 3 but haven't had the time to play it.
Would you recommend this game for AU$17.99 or the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Chaotic Great Edition for $24.10 or not at all.

I do like getting all of Achievements if I play a game.

Thanks for your input.

I bought it on sale and so far have been loving it. I gave like 11 US for it.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and The Presequel are the worst parts of the franchise in my opinion but it doesn't mean they're bad games. I'd rate them 7 out of 10, I've finished 'em once and won't play 'em again.
3 has a lot better gameplay than TTWL TTWL seems more like a dlc
Depends what you play the series for, and what you're looking to get out of your time. Wonderlands offers quite a bit for me personally, that isn't found in any of the other games. That being said, Any individual aspect of the experience, is done better in one of the other games, but the combination of the theme/spells/class play and (hot take) the addition of the overworld aspect, makes it pretty enjoyable. especially on sale. I do reccomend playing with Redux mod though, even before experiencing 'vanilla'.

For me the borderlands-franchise order would be like
BL2 > BPS > TTW > BL1 > BL3
So YES, esp. in sale it's worth it.
Though the main question is simply this:
Do you like BL gameplay and do you like Tiny Tina?
If both is yes you will like this game. There are shortcommings of course but they most likely won't break your experience.

i bought it on sale almost 3 years ago and just started playing it because Borderlands 4 is out in September. I really wish I'd played it sooner. It is fantastic! Think castles, and skeletons, and crabs, and all that jazz. I've played all of them, several times, even the Pre-Sequel. Highly recommend!
Gameplay is better than TPS, but not its story after Torgue.

Otherwise, its not better than two and three only beats it out by a little.

The only thing I'd really give to TTW is you can mix and match classes. Otherwise, after torgue, the story drops off hard. The loot sucks and is pretty much non existant. Hell, in BL2 I think Maliwan has more legendaries alone than all of TTW does, or at least comes close. And what little there is in TTW its not that great, theres minimal variety and it all boils down to the same thing more or less.

If you get it on a deep sale it might be fun with friends for a play through but it dies off pretty quickly.

Endgame isn't much better either, Chaos runs is just "random" rooms with mobs to kill. That alone would be worth playing if the game had loot worth farming for and an actual enemy variety. But by the time you even get here you've pretty much seen all there is to offer.

TL:DR - No. Never. Never in a million years. The writing is painful, some of the voice acting is awful, and the gameplay is mediocre at best.

For anyone reading later.

If you think you want like BL 3.2 or something, no, it is not that kind of game.

If you want something a bit different that is like playing D&D in the BL universe then yes.
If you can get a few friends and do it as co-op, even better.

TTWL is not BL per se, it is a spin off in the vein of the dragon's keep DLC from BL2.
If you liked that, then this will be fun, if you hated that DLC then you wont enjoy this.
