cant purchase DLC at bundle price of 12GBP even though I own base game already

I own tiny tina already and went to buy the DLC because I want to play with my friend who has the DLC, simple... obviously not.

the bundle with game is around 12GBP but i can only purchase as a gift even though I have none of the DLC. i cant remove the base game to only buy the DLC at the bundle price, only the individual DLC price at 8GBP each, whic I obviously wont be doing because I only pay what anything is worth

is this the gearbox airheads idea or is it the steam storefront? I've bought games before and then purchased the dlc later on with the bundle discount but for whatever reason only known to empty headed farm animals i have to purchase the same game again, for the exact same platform just to play the dlc or spend 30GBP to play the DLC that in the bundle costs less than a single DLC outside the bundle?

can someone explain why humans are giving stray dogs IQ a fight when it should really be aiming alot higher IMO

I think it's because the bundle is a "Must Purchase Together" purchase.

didnt know that was a thing, mostly because i've bought games then bought dlc at the bundle discount price about a dozen times and was never forced to buy the game again.

its all good, just bought the season pass which has all the dlc, which was in the same list as all DLC the season pass? more single digit IQ cuckery but hey ho, thanks for replying, many thanks
