Multiplayer join problem still persists?

How long has this game been out and joining friends is still as broken as 1st day, wtf?

2K support insisted that it's my problem with my internet, despite making it clear that

-the 3 other players in my group also have trouble connecting to each other
-we can join other gearbox servers no problem (BL2, BL3)
-linking this and other threads about other players across different platforms experiencing it

I guess the only thing that can be done is to wait for Gearbox to happen to notice it, and in the meantime for others to also report the issue directly and continue making a fuss about it.

The unfortunate reality is that this game is not exactly high up on their revenue sheets, so I doubt there'll be much of a hurry to investigate.

Since the issue has arisen, on some days we've had no problem getting 3 into a single lobby. But we have never, ever gotten that 4th.

Subscribing to this thread as I am also having this issue. It was working fine up until Thanksgiving week. Gearbox changed something and now myself, and three other friends cannot join a game together. We have been trying every Thursday for 3 weeks and we are probably going to quit and play something else. We are in the middle of the story so this is very frustrating.

Same thing is happening to me as well since 11/26. No rhyme or reason why sometimes a player can connect and sometimes cannot. Never able to get all 4 of us in the same game.

My group of 4 played fine for 15hr or so then this problem started, 3/4 lobby just fine but the fourth, no matter who it is, cannot connect.

I read online if all four players use a VPN, and set it up as it's on a LAN, it works. I haven't tested this yet.

Sadly it's not the most practical solution and even then that makes cross-play with friends impossible.

Having the same issue with 3-4 player co-op and it's incredibly sad as we were looking forward to the game.

Having the same issues. My group of 3 just started having problems about 11/26 too. It takes 30-45 mins to get in using a bunch of different attempts.

Creating a vpn and having your friends connect to it to bypass shift does in fact work. I am not sure how to get the problem relayed to the correct person as contacting 2k support seems to go no where. Would still recommend everyone who has the problem put in a ticket maybe enough would cause them to actually try to fix it.
