Dlc for 6$
Seeing dlcs have very bad reviews is it worth throwing 6$ on them

As per usual for Borderlands dlc, you get more loot to expand the number of builds you can make. Unusually for Borderlands dlc, it's not a fullblown new zone with mini-zones attached to a main "hub" zone, but instead small 4-5 part mini-adventures more akin to the head hunter dlcs that Borderlands 2 had. If there is a sale for less than the original price, I'd say get them, but never at full price. They are definitely not worth the full 10 bucks.

The real question is whether or not somebody without the base game should spend $16 for it, or spend $20 for the game and all the DLC.

From what I'm reading elsewhere, the DLC only really adds end game content and is very story light, so it's only going to matter if you're focusing on the end game grind. Is that the case?

The DLC are tedious and boring. They are each 1 set of maps similar to the encounters on the regular map. they are linear not open world. The playtime on them is based on locked higher difficulty only being unlocked by completing the previous difficulty. They are the worst part of the base game copy and pasted as DLC meant to be repeated 4-5 times to unlock some exclusive mediocre loot and achievements. My buddy and i played through all the DLC in probably less than 2 hours and by the end of the first half hour we were not enjoying ourselves and only continued because we are completionists. If you are not trying to 100% the game I would not purchase the DLC as a similar experience can be had by doing the CHAOS end game or getting slapped by the little dudes on the map.

I've enjoyed it, but seem to be in the minority here. One thing others have NOT mentioned, though, is you get a new class, as well, the Blightcaller, which is (arguably, but MM agrees) is the strongest character class in the game, as well as a couple of new backstories.

If there is ever a sequel done for TTW, I am about 99% that it will tie in from this DLC, as well...
It's very bad, i am playing this dlc JUST for the achievements but one of them is buggy.

Really a masterpiece of boredom and soulless grinding.

4 mirrors, each of them has 5 levels and you must go this mirror 4 times...

yes this is a fair point blight caller is a strong class and is only available from DLC not the I would say graveborn x spellshot is stronger than any blightcaller class though.
