Stuck on Signing in

other posts say shift issues but how do I fix it? I just don't?
my friend's online np. I've restarted the game 4x and I keep getting stuck at the "Signing in <username>" title screen

We played 2 sessions before without issue. The game's allowed thru my firewall too.

Shift is broken with this game right now it seems. There is a "fix" but it involves not connecting to Shift servers anymore. To play MP best way right now is to set game to LAN (cog in topright of main menu), use Hamachi to be on the same network, then everyone joins the same person in Social - LAN.

No disconnects or delayed waits on the "signing in" screen since doing this about 9 gameplay hours ago. Game is good once you get past the connection issues but I can see the server issues making most people just refund and move on.

same - seriously getting a rage on with this game, why make a game where you can't even get past the initial startup, USELESS !!!
