Incompatible version

Just bought the game to play with my daughter cross-platform, she's ps5, I'm PC.
We cannot seem to be able to group together. At first it just timed out when trying to connect, now it's saying were on incompatible versions (this happens both ways, when i join her and when she joins me, same message on both platforms) we're both on the latest version from what I can see. Anyone have any ideas? Would really appreciate it!

There was a very recent update that removed the digital rights management for the game.
In the last few hours people on twitter have reported cross play issues.

Comments like:
I'm on PS4, my friends are on PS5. We cannot play together after ver 1.11 (1.011) update - game says we don't have compatible versions!

Why can't a PS5 and PS4 multiplay? After the update I get a Version mismatch error.

co-op crossplay not working

so im trying to join my friend that is on ps5 but its keeps telling me to upgrade my game as well as showing my friends character as character pending

Seems to be related to the update that occurred yesterday that removed the Denuvo digital rights management. Plenty of people reporting the same cross platform connection issue. Not sure of the cause of the problem. Maybe the update hasn't been rolled out to all platforms or something else is amiss that needs fixing.

Still having issues as of now. Buddy on PS5, updated to latest, and cannot connect. Says Character Pending in social menu friends list as well.

As of now no crossplay works at all. Praying they have a update soon :(

Is PS5 - PC crossplay nonfunctional?

I bought this game along with a friend; me on PC them on PS5; but we are unable to join one another. Whenever I attempt to join them, it automatically sets my group privacy to 'local only' then times out... And once the time out is clicked it sets itself back to whatever I actually had my group privacy set to. Anyone else having problems like this?

is there a specific setting to enable cross-play? Also, do you need to have a playstation membership to use their online function? Im trying to do the same thing. If cross-play not working, i cannot buy this.
