They could have supported it like bl3. They simply didn’t since everyone got fed up with the dlc not addressing the endgame issue.

Borderlands 3 so low is insane. The story is horrible, but so is the one from TTWL. But BL3 has great dlcs and was fun to play. Which TTWL isn't, the insanely boring skill trees doesn't help TTWL

Better story, but still horrible. The characters are boring too, basically no post game content, dlcs are horrible, gameplay is a huge step down from 3, the group is annoying, skill trees are on borderlands 1 level(which isn't good)

good artstyle and gameplay, who cares about everything else. the lucky dice and other findables are fun to enjoy.

low key hated for things that don't impact the game.

DLC worth the 5 bucks?

After all these years did they patch the game enough to make the 5 bucks worth it, or should I just play though the main story and be on my way?

I'd say that unless you want to play the DLC class, there isn't a reason to buy the DLC.

unbearable writing, dialogue, and "humor"

I've never in my life played a game that aggravated me so much in its dialogue I had to refund. I barely got through Borderlands 3, and this one feels like the gold standard of bad. I can't believe human beings wrote this.
