Is DLCs so bad?

I am going to buy Chaotic Greater Edition but DLC reviews are very negative. Are they worth to buy or you suggest to just buy base game?

The DLCs don't prolong the story or have a different area with some side-quests like it was in the other BL games. Instead, you're put in an instanced dungeon, go through 5 maps and kill a boss at the end. That's it. It's definitely not worth the money. You'd be smart to just wait until the DLCs come on a 75% discount or something.

Its one of those, ' do you have money to burn ' .. if so.. pick them up.. because yeah the 3 we have now are definitly NOT worthy of being called DLCS.. =)

The dlcs are so great buy them :) new zones to play around in :) when ppl say ''it's just a dungeons with one boss'' it's a lie :) there is sidequest in the dlcs they just haven't found them :) or they maybe blind :)

I suggest you watch a YT video of one or all of the DLC's. They are SHORT and nothing like any previous Borderlands DLC. There is of course the new class that is soon to be released that is bundled with the Season pass.

I'm looking forward to the final DLC and new class but I cannot in good faith recommend it as I did for BL3.

The games DLC size, but then you buy DLC for this DLC? Seems kinda odd.

It's short yes but i think the the new DLC dungeons are really cool! They are different and with some mini puzzles. Also when you beat them they get added to the Chaos chambers what people seem to forget. So for me def worth it! Also there is a new class coming soon with the new dlc

You know the 2 takedowns with 2 difficulties of BL3, well the DLC are 4 takedowns with 4 difficulties for 30 bucks, well 16 bucks if you buy the chaotic edition during the 20% off time.

i think people, myself included, just hoped for more
it's more or less just more window dressing for the endgame grind
as a whole package imho the edition is worth it, but in a series that had produced some great dlc content, Tina's sadly joins the direction BL3 went (in some regard)
i realy do hope they up their game again, the core game (Wonderlands) is a great platform to bridge the gap to BL4

The only thing they improved was replacing grenades with magic, melee while cool isn’t the reason people play bl. Other things are scaled down from 3, thing is there’s very little to improve at this point outside of writing which I can’t see improving, shooting is as good as it’s gonna get.

So basically, it adds dungeons you can replay in the endless dungeon mode...
it's up to you if it's worth the money.
Do you play borderlands to play on tiny maps with an average lifetime of 2minutes? yes you do? You kind of picked the wrong game, but the dlcs are definitely for you.
