If you are using OneDrive, that may also be in the path.
Try: Quit the game. Delete the "WindowsNoEditor" folder so that it can be recreated on the next launch. Launch the game and test.
Also if you are using anything other than Windows Defender, you may have to add the above folder to it's whitelist.
Windows 10/11 come with Defender installed. Maybe you turned it off?
So you don’t have a “My Games” folder inside your “Documents” folder? <- if so, that’s your issue
When I start the game then comes the message:
Your settings could not be saved. Would you like to try again.
Have really checked various things and also in the forum I have not become smarter.
