The game patched yesterday and the videos started working. In addition, FSR 2 works and can give a bit of a frame boost.

I've played around 4 hours on the steam deck, works well. I've had a shader loading crash but it seems to work well. Went to PC instead because there is no cloud saves at this point...

I've been playing for around 5 hours on SD and the game crashed twice on Low settings (with some exceptions) and capped 30fps. Apart from that and no Cloud Save, it's been fine.

I have been playing just fine on the deck (GIVE US CLOUDSAVES YOU IDIOTS!).

Make sure to use the latest proton GE and everything will work fine.
I am playing on low settings though to get to 60 FPS. I DON't use FSR 2.0 and run it natively because the ghosting is just horrible. You could turn down the resolution scale so the game doesn't dip as hard in bossfights but you don't have to. Played the castle siege without noticing hardcore dips or anything.

I use 75% Resolution scale but again you don't have to. Enjoy !

Steam Deck?

Was anyone else with a Steam Deck able to get this to run? When I downloaded it it said it was playable but it didn't load at all

Play with settings, the bench mark doesn’t work. Or it’s not Steam Deck worthy.

When I say the benchmark doesn’t work I mean it says that you can run it at a point but when actually playing it crashes to very low FPS. Like it says I can run on high to ultra settings but I have to downgrade it to medium mostly.

Does anyone know the save file locations on Windows and SteamOS? I want to setup semi-automatic sync with SyncThing on my deck

Windows: C:\Users\**USER**\Documents\My Games\Tiny Tina's Wonderlands\Saved\SaveGames

edit: I installed on my Deck and it synced my PC save?

Ive seen a video yesterday, look at it. If theres a weird visual bug then you should wait it out i think?

It should work just fine on SteamOS, since it runs through Proton and is not distro dependent.

That said I never tried it using vanilla Proton but rather whatever latest version of Proton GE was available https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom to make sure ingame videos would play.

I use DXVK_ASYNC=1 as launch option for a smoother experience.
