Couch Coop / Split Screen / Coop Locale

Wil there ever be a couch coop / split screen mod for this game or this is lost?
I've tried to gather information through the net but nothing...

Hard to find real info on this. Am I reading this right that split screen local coop is only on console and not on PC?

nope there is no splitscreen on pc SADLY. It's about time that we get splitscreen on pc too!

there's never been split screen on the PC versions of these games, best you could get is LAN play which I'm sure it has

No, local means 2 people can play 1 game, LAN means you have to buy multiple copies of the same game

Yah "Couch Co-op" is the old name but kids these days (or their parents) are used to having to buy two or more copies to play the same game in one house. Hot garbage.

BL3 was the same, you cannot do split screen (officially) on a PC.

Buying two copies of the game isn't the issue, it's getting two video cards

It's mainly because of how it's set up, you need seprate saves/seprate accounts for split screen in borderlands titles, you can't have multiple accounts signed in for steam at once, it's much easier just to cut it out then to try and replace the whole system.

I literally can't believe there is no option for local split screen coop on PC. I'm so pissed right now
