Aah it's an epic exclusive (pretty much confirmed)
Keep in mind I am not here to bash on Epic but just to confirm what a lot of people were concerned about recently. Check this link they gave on their twitter to pre order : https://playwonderlands.2k.com/fr-FR/buy/?release=tiny-tina-s-wonderlands-chaotic-great-edition&platform=xbox-series-x-s&region=united-states&medium=digital

you can see there is only 4 platform choices : Xbox series X and S, Epic Games Store, PS5, PS4 and that's it. RIP. Now is it one year exclusive or 6 months like BL3 that's the question.
Messaggio originale di Tarakesh:
it IS confirmed by their own FAQ on the page:
Q: Which PC storefronts will have Tiny Tina's Wonderlands?

A: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches on March 25, 2022 on PC via the Epic Games Store exclusively at launch, and on other PC digital storefronts later in 2022.

I hope it's true, for once I'm actually hyped for a game.

Sure thing.

You're wrong, but sure thing.
You quoted wrong...but did you really just say server based online play doesn't exist <.< wow you either don't play many games are are just ignorant. Firstly every MMO is server based, so is minecraft. COD, at least until the 2019 Modern Warfare, was also server based online.

Now I, unlike you did some research, it appears BL3 was peer to peer, however there is no statement about if TTW is p2p server, or mixed.

This is why people get toxic defending EGS, because people like you get toxic against people who go there.

Why even come here to defend Epic? Why not stay over there and enjoy the Epic ecosystem? Oh wait....
Wow that's so original...oh wait it's not. Here's a question? Why not act like a decent person and just be civil? People wonder why gamers had a stigma for so long.

See, that's what I don't understand. Every platform has it's fanboys, but Epic's is the only one that camps out on the forums of a rival, insisting that everyone who doesn't 'support the developers' is a heretic who hates freedom. Like, I don't like Fortnite or CoD much, but I don't go onto their forums to pick fights; I'd rather spend the effort being friends on the forums of games I DO like, like Total Warhammer and Elden Ring.
This is actually not true actually. <.< You can find people on reddit from steam making fun of EGS, if EGS had a forum steam people would make fun of it there. Steam people go on twitter to attack it too. And even outside of this, communities go make of and attack other communities. The reason you don't see it is because you aren't interested in the other thing, so if you don't go in their discussions you wont see the other side attacking.

But just to cement the point. Look here, most the people here getting attacked by the steam fans, aren't actually even EGS 'fans' but rather people who simply use both. Like look at the guy you're replying to. He's saying I'm 'defending epic'. But I haven't actually even said anything about them. I think that should be example enough that sides are equally belligerent.
the reason why the arent answering the question about how long the exclusivity is prob they signed a contract so they arent aloud to tell us ecacly how long it is coz then ppls will wait for steam, so if they dont tell some ppls crack and buy it on egs coz they want the game so badly. Epic wants ppls to buy it there insted of here. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practice but we can only wait like me
This time will we have the game at the same day of Epic Games Launcher?
I'm wondering about it, there is that informatioin around?
Keep Going to boycott EPIC Fail Store - if they are run out of russian war money, we can completely destroy them and then that timed exclusivity drama will finally end
No, it will be a timed exlusive, how long we don't know, all we know is this year.

Most speculate 6 months, some say 6 days, others say 3 months, we don't know.
I wonder how much if the base game they are gonna chop up and sell as separate DLC
didn't the wonderlands site say something along the lines of 'later this year' in regards to pc release on other stores, I doubt it's gonna come out to other stores in 6 days after initial launch

I feel this argument is getting kinda tired. Players these days demand constant updates, or they'll whine on the forums about 'Gam Ded'. But development isn't free, so that leaves developers with two choices: DLC, or MTX. And to have good DLC, you need to at least plan it out before the game releases, although not necessarily start working on it. Criticize the DLC model if you wish, just keep in mind what the alternative is.

This is so true. So many people whine about things like MTX or DLC...but then they want bigger and better games, at the same price, with higher graphics, and more frequent releases.

I have met people who have said things like "Indie games don't cost as much so triple AAA games don't need DLC". Like not even realizing, even if a game -can- be made for less, the company has to try to recoup whatever it spent, even if they did "over spend".

Tired but valid argument. Also, i rather have MTX than DLCs because the former are cosmetics mostly so in this way we dont get any content cut from the game

Internal Steam Release Dates Apparently Leaked via API[techraptor.net]

I think this date is real. My theory is that, this time around, Epic paid for a 9-month timed exclusive for *preorders only.* That exclusivity began at the game's announcement in June 2021 and will end at the game's release on EGS March 25. After that, 2K is allowed to advertise the game's availability on Steam for March 31. This way, Epic gets their "exclusivity" mind share for 9 months, Gearbox/2K get their early payout bucks from Epic, and we the Steam fans are minimally pissed off (unlike what happened with Borderlands 3). Win win win situation.
if epics thing ends on the 25th steam should have it then or the 26th waiting till the 31st makes no sense at all

Easy answer to that question: Epic store is such a piece of irredeemable trash that it doesn't have forums.

The smoothbrains who support Epic, come on Steam forums to express their support for Epic because they can't do the same on Epic Forums, because once again, those don't exist.

The irony is lost on them of course, due to intellectual inadequacy.
no forum lol did they ever manage to put the shopping cart in at least.
since no shopping cart, all games are free.....7 days and counting
