Now I, unlike you did some research, it appears BL3 was peer to peer, however there is no statement about if TTW is p2p server, or mixed.
This is actually not true actually. <.< You can find people on reddit from steam making fun of EGS, if EGS had a forum steam people would make fun of it there. Steam people go on twitter to attack it too. And even outside of this, communities go make of and attack other communities. The reason you don't see it is because you aren't interested in the other thing, so if you don't go in their discussions you wont see the other side attacking.
But just to cement the point. Look here, most the people here getting attacked by the steam fans, aren't actually even EGS 'fans' but rather people who simply use both. Like look at the guy you're replying to. He's saying I'm 'defending epic'. But I haven't actually even said anything about them. I think that should be example enough that sides are equally belligerent.
Most speculate 6 months, some say 6 days, others say 3 months, we don't know.
I feel this argument is getting kinda tired. Players these days demand constant updates, or they'll whine on the forums about 'Gam Ded'. But development isn't free, so that leaves developers with two choices: DLC, or MTX. And to have good DLC, you need to at least plan it out before the game releases, although not necessarily start working on it. Criticize the DLC model if you wish, just keep in mind what the alternative is.
I have met people who have said things like "Indie games don't cost as much so triple AAA games don't need DLC". Like not even realizing, even if a game -can- be made for less, the company has to try to recoup whatever it spent, even if they did "over spend".
Tired but valid argument. Also, i rather have MTX than DLCs because the former are cosmetics mostly so in this way we dont get any content cut from the game
