Aah it's an epic exclusive (pretty much confirmed)
Keep in mind I am not here to bash on Epic but just to confirm what a lot of people were concerned about recently. Check this link they gave on their twitter to pre order : https://playwonderlands.2k.com/fr-FR/buy/?release=tiny-tina-s-wonderlands-chaotic-great-edition&platform=xbox-series-x-s&region=united-states&medium=digital

you can see there is only 4 platform choices : Xbox series X and S, Epic Games Store, PS5, PS4 and that's it. RIP. Now is it one year exclusive or 6 months like BL3 that's the question.

Will you guys buy this game on Steam?
Did you guys ever have a server problem while playing BL3 on Epic? I remember having trouble with connecting to SHIFT and can't play with anyone like forever so now I'm thinking buying on a Steam might be a way to go for me

P.S. any suggestion is welcome wanna hear from you guys

I've started BL3 on Steam with new character few days ago. I got like 20+ messages 'You are disconnected from SHIFT' and 'You are now connected to SHIFT servers'. It has nothing to do with Steam or EGS IMO. Those 'Shift servers' that are replacement for steam online services are just total crap.

As for Wonderlands I'm not planning to buy it. From what I've seen it looks superboring. Waiting 10 or so second to Tina or other NPC make her/his speech and trigger some path opening action (like destroying a gate) is just unacceptable. Such pauses in coop games are killing momentum. I f you wait 10 seconds on single player game, you wait 10 seconds, but in coop it feels like 10 minutes. Also legendary weapons look even more retarded than in BL3. No thanks. I don't have EGS account so for me Steam is only option in this case.

looks boring, bl3 copy and the classes dont really seem interesting. Epic exclusive on top. Steam is gonna release with sale and fixes/patches maybe some content already as a bonus, so yeah obviously, only right answer. Its only 6 months, and summer goes by fast :)

99$ Canadian OMG, that is a huge ask for a shoot & loot game. May wait until steam put this up at 50% off in a year.
Steam doesn't list the March release date instead opting for a vague "Coming Soon". If it were any other title this close to the official release date, that date would be listed. Therefore, It's reasonable to assume that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will be released on Epic first following be a Steam debut later, likely at the 6 month mark as so with Borderlands 3.

Well, I guess this will be just another game I won't purchase.
I disagree with exclusives, and I refuse to give my money to any company that participates in such ideas. Still haven't purchased Borderlands 3 because of it, even at discount.

Get wrecked 2k Games.

Why do people have favorite shady corporations? This is so weird to me.

Buying a game that was given exclusivity (even if you wait for your preferred platform) is still supporting a company that believes in bad business practices. 2k gets no money from me.

I wouldn't mind buying things on Epic if it wasn't such a POS launcher lol. I'm not buying another game on a launcher that takes literal years to implement basic functionality from a company making billions per year.

To the Epic haters.... Steam is selling your info to the same people as EPIC. EVERY major corporation sells your info.

You hate exclusivity but are fine with steam taking almost half the price of the game?

2k could give a ♥♥♥♥ less about your $60

You hate Epic yet support steam stealing 25% just to sell the game on this toxic platform. LOL
Whinning about "toxic platform", yet uses discussion forum Epic does not even have...
You know, it is easy to take less money if you dont have to pay moderators and servers that stores terabytes of forum informations, game reviews etc. :D
Oh and cut on steam is much lower than your 25% :D

I pre-ordered last year for Epic and will get it on Steam as well and move my saves over like I did for BL3. Life's too short and unpredictable to wait for things for trivial reasons.

Sure they do... because maintain servers for decades so people can download they games whenever they want is cheap.
No, not really. Developer often have their own launcher PLUS steam. The only developer that uses his own launcher is Ubisoft (plus some indie and very small companies who avoid steam). And let me remind you that EA recently moved their games to steam and same about Microsoft it seems to me. AND bethesda is cancelling their launcher soon.

30% or 25% cut may be unfair (large studios pay less but you propably missed that detail) but for the money customer and studios get a lot of service.
You may find forums useless (in that case i dont know what are you doing here other than showing what a hypocrite you are) but the fact that steam has forums, reviews and other tools EGS does not have, it also mean they are able to attract more customers.

And let me remind you EGS did nothing for their customers. Studios may have better shares there but customer pays the same amount of money.

So yea, if everyone wants to have their own launchers or join EGS club, their decision. It may bring them more money but for me as a customer, steam does much more than EGS.
