I will say however be careful when going into those challenge rooms some enemies spawn those weak ass bubble damage attack that expand.
Any other character where I can afford to take a hit or two, yeah, I'll usually do all three waves.
also a problem id say is with like vanaheim 2's first challenge is ALWAYS 8 fly nests and its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrible never do that one.
Do you need some coins for a game breaking item and you already cleared all other rooms?
This unless I've gotten myself killer DPS. If I have Celestial Drumroll I'll use it to cheese wave 3, and if I have the healing spell that recharges with time I may play lame and win games since I can full heal after each wave but even then it's risky.
For the first floor, to me they feel like they are a little too hard for the reward you get. I get that it's a challenge room, and it's definitely challenging which is fine. But getting a single coin in a chest makes the challenge not worth it to me for the risk of getting hit 1 or 2 times (especially when 25hp costs 2 coins at the store).
That said, most of the challenge for me comes from flies, especially because it's the first floor. They take a lot of hits if you're not upgraded or using the basic pistol, they have long range when you (probably) don't since it's the first floor, and they are harder to hit (small size, flying, quick movement).
Ideas for making challenge rooms worthwhile on the first floor:
- Leave the difficulty the same but increase the quality if the rewards
- Or, make the room easier, probably by reducing the amount of flies in them.
Agreed. Unfortunately the biggest issue with the game is balance, ITems either OP or trash, and u are either OP or weak imo.
they wont change anything now though, game is done with no more updates :(
Game had a lot of potential and the small team did really well but it could have been epic , but its pretty average in general as a Rogulite
