Then again the game is not ballanced in any way, so the score system is not ballanced either.
I doubt the developers will ever return to this game and update anything, since they are working on a playstation and xbox version. So this version of the game is considered ''finished''.
Cant be helped.
Considering you have to open chests, find shrines, and traverse rooms. As well as shop, and interact with other things in rooms.
This is a poor design choice.
Would make sense if you teleport to a next room after you kill everything, but thats not the case here.
First hours are invested on learning the mechanics, items, rooms, enemies, etc., at least that's what I did, and so I did not expect to get any good score because of it.
After that, you know where to go, where to find altars, which enemies to focus and so on, so you have no need to loose time as you did when starting to play.
Even more, after a lot of hours you will probably don't even need to stop at most altars nor rooms, and try to rush the bosses since you saved your loadout.
It's a very good design. If you want to get betters scores, then hurry up, don't distract yourself on hellheim, just rush boss. Try to get all the stuff at first levels.
You can always just play "practise" until you feel comfortable to play the game as it's intended by developers, which is going as fast as ♥♥♥♥ boi
