Balancing is not the games strong point :(
Imo, the whole point of those games is to be able to never lose no matter the RNG ;) (suggested by streaks :shrug: ?)
Yes but when you literally cant lose a game it becomes very boring and having absolutely best in slot Items and game breaking items its not interesting.
Maybe I'm just terrible but the lack of invincibility frames means any run is one wrong step from ending no matter how much life and stuff you have.
I guess you could call that a god run, but damn looking back at how I got those Items, the skeleton key made that possible.
Also, while it is a powerful item the existence of the slot machine, which have a tendency to spit out keys, make it less useful.
There are a lot of items I'd rather see in a box over the skeleton key to be honest
