What does Juke mean?

I keep seeing it pop up but there's no info anywhere about what it means.

just a fancy word for dodge it was used alot in pvp years ago when you would bait an enemy into attacking and dodge them youd be like get juked noob

Juke is when you have a leading attack by an enemy and you move the other way at the last second. For instance, a guardian shoots to where you are moving, so if you're strafing left, and move right after a guardian fires, you'll "juke" the bullet giving you that notification. Dodge is the same thing except you shift dodge instead.

It's DODGING but not. You evade an attack without actually hitting the dodge key. You simply move out of the way at the last second.
