Regarding progression
I feel as though this is necessary to put out there. I have seen some worries/complaints about the gameplay loop. This was something that should have been let known from the beginning to reduce the risk of players dropping off.

But from the start, you are limited to a couple maps and the same sort of data key ending transport mission. However when you do start reaching the level 20 to level 25 area, a LOT of content is opened up to you. You get 2 to 3 more maps, three new game modes along with data key being Escort Magnus, Charge the Hammer and Join the fight. You also fight new dinosaurs being Suchomimuses, Gas Neosaurs, Sniper Neosaurs, Baronyx, Ankylosaur, Dilos along with a lot more others. During the second beta there was also the big player vs ai raid mission where both teams merge to fight a larger boss which may be unlocked during later levels.

This is still early days and I am yet to see what comes in the later levels but this is a fault on Capcom's part for not letting people know from the start that there is more to come and its not just 2 maps and 2 modes for £50. There will be more content following the road map being exo suit variants and crossover events like Street Fighter and Monster Hunter in Spring of 2024. In terms of lootboxes, don't worry, there are no current ways of paying for them, they are purely free and you sometimes receive them upon completing the game.

So despite troubles, keep giving the game a go. The more you play, the more you unlock. It is a shame that it wasn't implemented from the start which is why it's not grasping too many players just now but what I'm saying is give this game a go.

Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope this clears up some worries.

Thanks for givin some info on how the progression looks like because googling it gave me actual nothing.

I play it on Gamepass, for me this game has good things in it (gameplay, movement, graphics are good)

But it's still not a good game if more content opens up on level 20-25.
I have played 6 hours now. I'm on level 12. Meaning that I have to grind 2 times that much to open up something new that will be remotely interesting because so far repeating same objectives on same 3 maps puts me to sleep.

Story got somehow more interesting after that 6 hours, but that is extremally long, most people will just stop playing at that point.

It's a $60 game, that wants you to repeat same things over and over for 12 or more hours to give you something more.

Glad to help my friend! I understand it is quite the repeat and I can understand it getting tedius but the wide range you achieve after that stage is worth it and will hopefully keep people more engaged with the content. I have recently discovered that around level 35 is when my friend experienced one of the 10 man mission raids. The price is a little high for something that kept you on a loop for the first few levels but hoping that through development later down the months, it will match up to the initial price. Thank you once again for reading x

I will say this. The game does not hold your hand and gradually includes new mechanics/dinos. I am roughly 10 hours in and at level 27. Recently just finished my first raid against a Neo Rex and keep encountering newer maps/enemies.

I get why they start it off slow. At a certain point, they crank the difficulty up and people start dropping like flies if teamwork is crap.

I see I see, I have been noticing the difficulty spike when watching my friend stream, teamwork starts to become a necessity with game mods such as data link (effectively capture the flag). But yes, thank you for bringing this up to our attention xx

Games shouldn't be long artificialy and should be fun from the start for sure totaly agree on that also unfun grind is bad design.

Also gated content is possible but i find very risky for little enchancement of experiences also doesn't work for every types of games ...

I am curious about what you mean by this, there are plenty of games that tend to be long and yet still are fun. An example I could name would be Horizon Zero or Monster Hunter World, both are relatively long games chock full of content. Xx I mean no hostility, just curious xx

except it is fun, which is a stupid argument to conflate with "not enough different content"

if you think the game is boring after 1 match then its not a game for you.
