I play it on Gamepass, for me this game has good things in it (gameplay, movement, graphics are good)
But it's still not a good game if more content opens up on level 20-25.
I have played 6 hours now. I'm on level 12. Meaning that I have to grind 2 times that much to open up something new that will be remotely interesting because so far repeating same objectives on same 3 maps puts me to sleep.
Story got somehow more interesting after that 6 hours, but that is extremally long, most people will just stop playing at that point.
It's a $60 game, that wants you to repeat same things over and over for 12 or more hours to give you something more.
I get why they start it off slow. At a certain point, they crank the difficulty up and people start dropping like flies if teamwork is crap.
I see I see, I have been noticing the difficulty spike when watching my friend stream, teamwork starts to become a necessity with game mods such as data link (effectively capture the flag). But yes, thank you for bringing this up to our attention xx
Games shouldn't be long artificialy and should be fun from the start for sure totaly agree on that also unfun grind is bad design.
Also gated content is possible but i find very risky for little enchancement of experiences also doesn't work for every types of games ...
I am curious about what you mean by this, there are plenty of games that tend to be long and yet still are fun. An example I could name would be Horizon Zero or Monster Hunter World, both are relatively long games chock full of content. Xx I mean no hostility, just curious xx
except it is fun, which is a stupid argument to conflate with "not enough different content"
if you think the game is boring after 1 match then its not a game for you.
