There's also a lore wheel that also progresses with multiplayer games.
yeah Its kind of a let down and adding >
This isn't ok in a $60 game > I mean not only that they have battlepass and cosmetic shop
I think if this was free to play they could get away with that kinda story and monetisation plan but charging for such a repetitive game kinda blows my mind.
But People are pissed that an online game have cosmectic micro transaction to pay for the server in the long run?
While this is off topic - I played FF14 for a long time and I got sick of paying full price for DLC £35 for a dlc then £9.99 a month to play that DLC and lose access to something you paid for is disgusting and quite frankly robbery. They have more than made there money it could easy survive on a F2P model.
What the ♥♥♥♥ even is this reply lol, is your hate boner for xiv so bad you need to bring it up in every post you make dude
How about you quote all of these post of me talking about FF14? Cose none of them are about this game...
You're saying that a game just released have less regular update than a game released year ago? When said game was literaly tra*h at lunch? When they had to remake the entire game for people to even pay attention to it? When the publisher of said MMO spend thousand of $ each month of marketing for people to even pay attentuon to their game?
These FF14 fanboy are worst than the WOW fanboy were... Literaly defending a publisher that ask people to pay for a game, pay for a subscription and bay for cosmetic but trash on a just released game you can play without subscription.
I dont get why people act as if the 2.0 that was pushed a year after the game's release was the starting point of ff14. Worst is that FF14 2.0 was basicaly a Japanese version of WOW without anything original. It had the name Final Fantasy but still wasn't popular in the first few year. It took the game a long time and a huge amount of marketing for it to get as popular as it is today.
That's the reason i used it as an exemple. Capcom is know to support their online game with content for a long time, but people are going crazy when it was just released.
People complain that there are paid cosmetic that are needed to keep the server is a nonsense, all online only game need a continuous income, and there's nothing better as cosmetic because it does not impact negtively people who dont want to buy them.
plz go finish school.
I mean, FF14 *is* the best MMO. It outclasses every other MMO by having an awesome community.
What micro transactions exist in Exoprimal? I have not seen any way to buy anything in-game with real money. This is common misinformation.
deep rock galactic is for 29$ , season pass on its for free , has 8 game modes and was made by small indie team. , all classes are avalible to everyone , only aditional monetization are skin packs
