Planes RTB into mountain like a dead parrot

Launched a bunch of planes with anti-ship load outs from my carriers. Attacked enemy group and then watched them RTB and fly straight into a mountain because the auto return flight level was 1000 ft, and the mountain was between the target and the carrier on a straight line. I was busy defending the carriers and became suspicious when the planes started disappearing. They make no radio call just nose dive straight into terrain.

At least with subs they will not deliberately descend into crush depth.

Yeah, Triassic really needs to add terrain following to all aircraft.

Just experienced this 8 Intruders Bingo'd, RTB at low level and augured into the ground.
