How do you control wire guided torpedos?

I asked myself the same question. I tried almost all buttons during SUB Battle missions, but MK48 wire guided torpedos won't change heading or depth after launch.

:liftofftool: Maybe this just is not implemented yet. :liftofftool:

You click on the torpedo on the map then right click on a location on the map to adjust its heading. If the wire breaks you cannot do this. I'm not sure how you can tell if the wire breaks or not. I have not found a way to adjust depth. You could try clicking on the Torpedo and then using the submarine hotkeys for diving or surfacing.

Didn't know you could steer it that way, but make sense. I just learned some ASMs with datalink can be retargeted the same way.

Mhmm, thanks. I am gonna try that one. Not sure if my wire was broken and don't know if the game tells us when this is the case.

It might be in the weapons status on the bottom bar. If it shows linked, that should mean wire still attached.

I really miss the Cold Waters torp controls. The same way you can manually control ships, you should still be able to manually control torpedoes (both depth and heading)
