How to program TASM route?
It seems you can only launch them at a single point, you can't actually program the route you want them to take.

You also can't tell it to fly high to go over mountains.

This is posted from Julhem in another thread:

"As said above, TASM combines the Harpoon seeker with the warhead from Bullpup, and lacks the advanced terrain contour matching of the land attack versions. All anti-ship missiles are susceptible to crashing into terrain. As for AI line of sight check, that is indeed an oversight and we will fix it."

okay but that was not the question.

the TASM is supposed to be able to follow waypoints and go as high as 450m, so even if it doesn't have "terrain following" you could still send it up in the air for the first part and then make a sea skimming waypoint for the second part to go over a mountain manually

"You also can't tell it to fly high to go over mountains."

What I posted was a response to that. You're welcome.

Tactically, what case are you needing to go above terrain when using an anti-ship missile?

The only case I could think of is where range is a factor preventing you from plotting waypoints around the terrain. The missile will be much more survivable hiding behind the terrain and taking a sea approach, than popping up over a hill on a land route.

Either approach should be possible but yet there does not appear to be any way to set any waypoints at all, only firing in a straight line.

To actually try and answer your question, I have a feeling it has not been programmed into the game yet and my come in the future.

Well that is very strange because I remember you could set waypoints for harpoons in cold waters, it seems like it is a feature they have already finished many years ago.

Wire guided torpedoes aren't controllable yet either. My guess it was put on the back burner for now.
