Sea Power !?!?!?!? No thanks ...
For goodness sake...this abortion of a game crashes at the beginning. I have tried all the "remedies" proposed by the internet professors...result...nothing to do. As far as I'm concerned, I'm staying away from it...

Could you give us a log file? When does it crash? Immediately after the splash?
He doesn't have enough memory. That loading crash is most likely memory overflow. I doubt you will see a log file. He knows he has a abortion of a computer and he's butthurt that he can't magic the game to run on it.

Muppet is a good name for a ♥♥♥♥ with his attitude.
I play Sea Power on my 2014 Surface pro 3 , it runs on 2 fps, and it never crashes, just very slow, that's ok, I am only use it to edit my own mission and play it on Nvidia Now with 4k on my big TV screen,

Well usually when it crashes immediately after the splash/logo our crash dumps point to a null pointer texture which means in most cases the graphics driver has an issue because it cannot give enough texture RAM for the loading screen.
you might want to think about upgrading your pc.
I run on a 7600x and 650a mobo, and my GPU is legit below recommended requirements (1060 6gb) and the game runs just fine for me, I'd guess it's maybe a memory issue too unless op's GPU is SUPER old given my 10+ year old card can still run the game fine..

I've played 180+ hours without an actual crash, and only have problems with a couple things like AAMs performance/targeting that seem off for instance. Few problems at all really and those are primarily weapon mechanics, oh and a couple of mod glitches here and there... but in vanilla it runs and runs. For an EA game it's quite stable..
I've got a couple hundred hours with this game on a computer I built 8 years ago. The game plays fine and has crashed exactly once during a massive user-uploaded scenario. It's never crashed "at the beginning" of anything.

Can I point out the obvious to all? He doesn't have a copy of the game, or at least a legally purchased one, which is possible since he's too poor to buy a powerful enough computer to run it.

and I have a fairly "beefy" PC but I've only had 3 crashes in the crazy amount of playtime I have... AND all those crashes were after long, unit heavy battles with mods.

Bro trying to run the game on a google chrome book he stole from school
Ive have a 3 year old average machine and card and had 2 crashes in the early days but none at all recently
No crashes at all, just some FPS slow down when a 100 missiles are flying around, dozen ships and about 30 aircraft, but to be expected.

This developmental game costs less than a tank of gas, and yet is something that you will potentially put in hundreds of hours on. It is still under development from an openly disclosed very small team. Purchasing it entails some risk, but could pay off in huge personal satisfaction, fascination and fun. If it doesn't work right, out of the box, your options are to: quit loudly with lots of whining, stick it in your Steam library and revisit next year to see if it works better (on the new computer you bought in the meantime), or work with the Devs (who already answered your rant in this thread) to help them make it work on the broadest set of platforms, or just go back to Fortnite.

I think it’s a problem on your end since i literally not had a single crash since release day one.
