If it has a clear line of sight from plane to target and is in range it should be able to.

Thank you, clear line of sight is probably the Problem in the mission.

I've had issues with the game attacking ground units with a number of weapons. I wouldn't suspect you're doing much wrong.
I wonder if changing salvo would change things, because I noticed on regular dummy-bomb strikes too my planes were all releasing all bombs too early and always striking just short of the target (though funny enough in playing around in editor just before that, they were all striking them just fine). I wonder if when a platform like an A6/A7 does a 'pop up' maneuver if some of them aren't kind of poorly optimized to properly target stuff right now, maybe air speed messed it up, etc since I had them going pretty fast over an area with Zsu/Bofors based AA haha

But funny enough just earlier that same day playing around in the same scenario I was editing (basically just playing around with what game has / learning how to do things) the same A6/A7s struck targets without a problem releasing bombs in a stream that properly struck targets instead of releasing all 8 bombs in 1 single mass. I wonder if time compression messes with how the AI releases weapons etc

Time Compression can definitely mess things up. 1 to 1 during attacks is probably safer.
I tested it in the middle of the desert and it worked fine, the "Iceland under Attack - NATO side" Workshop Mission has lots of Trees etc. so i would guess it is a line of sight Problem.
I was wondering because i couldn't even select the Tanks as a target, with other Weapons you can click on the Target but get an Error Message, that the Weapon Seeker can't find the Target.
Interesting if trees or buildings cause LOS problems for the Maverick, because physical missiles like TLAMs just magically pass through those kinds of objects like magic.

Tbh i wonder if the AI logic also doesn't struggle with the height of an object in relation to height of stuff around it, maybe struggles with things on slopes and calculating trajectory, etc
