was there any QA done? like at all?
or are we blind posting code? I have missile frigates refusing to fire on helicopters cause they are at altitude 10k which somehow means the FCR cannot detect the target as said helicopter lazily walks up to my boat and hovers above it like a fu_king meme.

Early access is no excuse to straightup have your "game" not even able to function at basic levels.

and yes that's frigates plural. No one can fire on this helicopter because "FCR cannot detect target" despite everyone having their radars on, weapons free, and like 30 orders to shoot at it.


EDIT: ah yes and now half my fleet are doing seal meme circles instead of listening to any order I give because they're too busy trying to fire on a helicopter that is "FCR cannot detect target" and no matter how many times I say cease fire they are now locked in. PLEASE do minimal QA to ensure your code ACTUALLY works. NOT a big ask for early access.

Personally never had this happen over my 20-30h playtime.

Not saying it doesn't exist, but maybe there's something you missed in the process ?
What exactly are you trying to shoot at that helo ?

For the OP, what scenario? What. Mods, if any? It also sounds like the helo is in too close for missiles if it was on top of the ship.

I've never encountered an "unresponsive" ship/sub that couldn't be fixed by issuing a Cease fire. 8 out of 10 times they get stuck doing something, it's because it wasn't a good order I issued them (like engaging a target out of range, etc...)

Now aircraft are another story.

If you haven't already, filing a bug report would help resolve the issues you encountered.
