It’s an Early Access game that’s been out like two months. Yes it needs work, I figured it’s more useful to have actual feedback instead of generic complaints.
Is it randomized if you play it from the Soviet's side? I loaded the scenario but haven't played through it from their side yet.
It is indeed randomized if you play from the Soviet side. Also the fact that the only way you can get an early detection on NATO is through using aircraft from a carrier that never existed in real life proves my point about there needing to be Bears, Badgers, and Backfires on the Soviet side.
Might be a different one? In this one (variants on NATO and Pact sides) its a Carrier Battlegroup duel. It seems there's a randomized chance of getting a sub. Definitely gets sluggish though, slows to a crawl when you do a missile barrage. Did a salvo of 50-60 missiles from the Soviet side and it looked like it was playing at half speed.
Ah yes, the mission with chance of blue sub appearing bet 2 red TFs is All your Guam belong to us that also takes 5-6 hours to complete.
