iCUE H150i RGB ELITE Liquid CPU Cooler
It runs flawlessly on my PC but the CPU temps seemed a bit too high. I fly VR flight sims for hours on end and the temps have never rocketed to those levels.
Isn't the 14900k known to be very hot?
What Scenario?
My way less Powefull 5600X didn't got challenged that much.
Yeah, that was my concern. Turning down the sea level of detail from extreme to very high seems to have done the trick. Visually there isn't much difference TBH. Just gone through my first action... looks spectacular.
Yes, 100C isn't anything to be overly concerned about, apparently, but I'm a bit of a cautious guy :-)
Excellent point. BIOS updated. Same scenario, same settings temps down by 15 degrees on average. Extreme seas still generate a lot of fan activity but the temps are well within what I would consider to normal. If I leave the seas on ultra and max out everything else it still looks utterly stunning.
Forums eh? where would we be without them?
