What do difficulty settings do?
In the options area of settings, difficulty ranges from cheesy to fair and harder.

I would like to know what these settings change.

I have yet to see a difference between the highest and lowest setting.

I think it's just a way for the Scenario designer to tell player how difficult a mission will be, it does not affect unit or weapon performance.

I am referring to the options setting. Not scenario stars rating.
