Should be. You can play it on the steam deck so an 8600g should pertform well enough.

I'm currently playing it on a machine with integrated Intel Iris Xe, and it works just fine. Albeit graphics turned down to low, but it still looks pretty good.

Integrated Graphics is Marketing babbly hook from decades ago where store bought computers came in a tan color or avacado.

Run from those machines pertaining to gaming. Get machines with a separate stand alone video card or cards.

Well, I run on two machines; the one with discrete graphics is undoubtedly prettier, but the other one is perfectly acceptable. And I'm not even on potato.

There are plenty of niches for integrated graphics cards, such as laptops with long battery life or HTPCs which should be small and quiet. It's good that Sea Power can run on integrated too.

Missing part of the card equation is screen resolution. Bigger screens are more pixels and a lower frame rate at the same settings. So lower setting will help a integrated GPU chip, but so will a lower resolution.

Integrated GPUs have come a really long way. A 760m is about as powerful as a PS4 graphically. If you go to a 780m you get basically a 1050ti. DDR4 and 5 especially were such a boost... I honestly just use my deck for gaming and play sea power connected to a w1080p display. Still runs 30 FPS, some dips here and there mix of low and medium settings. These are not the integrated graphics of yesteryear.

So you paid $50 to play a naval game on low graphics? That's pretty unwise.

Ever heard of Command: Modern Operations? people will pay quite a bit more than $50 to play a game with almost no graphics at all, if it's fun for them

Right now its on sale as a bundle with the TAC to go with it for around 60.

Yes, a very good deal right now, it is normally $150 for that package. My point still stands though, I happily paid the ~$45 for Rule The Waves 3 when it came out, another game with quite literally no graphics to speak of. Some people value gameplay over graphics, it's a personal choice, if you will. Hopefully Sea Power will go on sale periodically once it is released as well
