There is already a "glue" camera function but it has to be "set up" everytime you want to focus on a vessel. And as soon as you leave that camera mode, you'll have to repeat the procedure in order to step onto the "bridge" again (for example).
Really? How does that work ?
Under section "Follow Camera":
- If you have moved the camera to some interesting location you can press SHIFT-L to stick it to that location. Might be useful if you want to "glue" it on a wing for an aircraft to follow its movements - Z-LMB plus moving will roll the camera - SHIFT-Z will reset that rolling/banking - CTRL-Mouse scroll wheel will zoom slower
It's a "half-way-there" already so perhaps if the devs don't take it further perhaps the modding community will?
