Unacceptable launch
The game is nigh unplayable because half of the times ships refuse to fire despite having a lock and are within range. Take the mission Dangerous Straits for example, The Winsconsin half of the time refuses to fire its tomahawks for no reason at all. The current state of the game is unplayable because it happens in all missions with all nations.

No, I have had this problem in several missions with practically every missile. The only missile that appears to reliably fire is the Harpoon.

Again in Dangerous straits, the island of Ikaria hosts 2 enemy radars, for which I had a lock with helicopters (outside minimum range) and the Winsconsin refused to fire despite cancelling orders (X). It instead decided to fire 127mm cannons despite being outside range. I will try to replicate the issue and upload it
The unit should tell you what it's doing in the status field in the bottom bar, but you can always enable the dev menu with F10 and look under 'General' and the current state will be displayed.

I am talking about tomahawks which have terrain avoidance.

I know, but the game will take the placement of the weapon in the model into consideration. I haven't ran into this issue yet, but it could be the problem.

The UI also shows the range when you have the weapon selected, red is maximum range and target needs to inside the circle, yellow is minimum range and target needs to be outside the circle.

Blue circle is guidance system horizon, some weapons need the launch platform painting the target, in that case it needs to be inside blue circle.

Played that mission, saw none of the issues you describe short of not being able to use TLANs because all the targets were inside minimum range. The recent update to the Status bar has been working well to let you know what the ship is doing.

That’s funny because I played this game for 48 hours straight with not a single crash.

Likewise, i've played this each day since release, nearly around 150 hours total play-time and zero crashes and only the minor bug such as in Dong-Hoi mission there's 1 certain ship that will not follow orders. Apart from that this game is completely playable.

Who mentioned a ‘crash’?!…..

I agree that the controls are a bit weird that the unit doesn't react when it is already attacking. That should (and most likely will) be fixed.

But honestly this is early access from a small dev team - those things happen - and I figured this problem out in the first few hours and also how to avoid it (and so did many others, with videos and forum posts and all), so I don't really know why people cry so much.
