Optimizing AI Behavior for Airbases and Aircraft Carriers in Missions
When I started playing with the mission editor, I thought the AI for airbases and aircraft carriers to launch planes was practically non-existent, except for early warning aircraft and helicopters. However, while testing a mission as the opponent, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my aircraft carrier was launching planes, mainly for ground attack and naval strike missions.

I conducted some more tests and found that even airbases send out ground attack planes, but only two at a time and at very long intervals. Does anyone know if there's a way to make them perform better with a specific type of mission or through some other method?

You have to manually type some text lines into your mission.ini

FYI I had the Syrians launch a flight of 4 MiG-25s to attack my ships in the Don't Mess with Texas scenario today. So AI will launch more I guess if it feels the need. But it was an AI fail to launch Foxbats to hit ships. Progress, but not there yet.

Yes, especially if you attack an airbase or an aircraft carrier, it seems to respond by launching ground attack planes if it has detected the attacker, even deploying all planes of that type it has. I've never seen the AI launch planes or use anti-air capabilities effectively.

Really? Could you please share an example of the code?
