Difficulty settings
I cannot find any details of what the tweaks are in the difficulty settings - anyone have any idea? For example, what has been removed from "Realistic" to make it "Very Cheesy"

I think I read a tooltip somewhere referencing damage and damage control effectiveness

Think I found the answer as to what changes. This is for a realistic difficulty, hence 0% no buff/debuff.

From what i found, the AI Struggles to take down missiles or fight you. but you have terrible radar and sensor range, to the point if you have no helicopter support, you are doomed, i had to get in to about 35 nm range to even get a ESM contact. but thats 1 test on a simple escort custom with half decent weather.

Realistic is the only way to go.

I'd love to know where the difficulty settings are in the files. In Cold Waters, one could tweak the buffs for each difficulty with a simple text editor. Alas, I have been unable to find the file for Sea Power as of yet, if it is even possible.

there is no setting in files, i think its just a very simple stat modifier as shown above in the screenshot
Discord quote.
Q: Hey is there anywhere to see exactly what the different difficulty levels do? I can't seem to find them in any of the inis I've checked

A: it's basically a stat buff for certain things.
