GPU 100% all time. (RTX 4060 Ti)
First of all. Great game, I am in love with it. My card is NVidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, my CPU is Core i7 10700f and I have 32GB Ram. The game are configured to maximum on graphic options. The GPU at 100 % is normal? Any solution? Thanks on advance

Try vsync. Could be yous system renders unnecessary frames.

my system uses 580w all the time in this game :(
my 7900xtx GPU is 100% load all the time.
9950X CPU is quite loaded too.

I will try vsync. Thanks man. 580w is very high. The game is great with top visuals, but these values keep us worried about our videocards. Thanks guys

Remember this game probably has some sensor modeling and that can be CPU instensive
Naval War Arctic Circle had sensor modelling in 2012 or somthing, good game but PC's at the time couldnt handle it plus the bugs.

My CPU was running hot 14900k. Touching over 80C, I have Process lasso installed so set the program to run at their ultimate setting and it seems to have cooled things down a bit. I have all in game settings maxxed out, with a 4090 why not? For now the temp is behaving but I may need to reduce some settings further down the line.

I found a solution. I downgraded Ocean Detail from 'Extreme' to 'High' and my card now works at 45% to 60%. The rest are on the max and game continues beautiful. Waiting for devs patch this, and we can play on extreme ocean graphics

Considering how long this game has been in development and play-tested, they probably would've resolved this awhile ago if they could have.

100% GPU is, of course, normal at maximum graphics if the game can push your card.

If you don't want 100% load capable, why did you buy 100% of your GPU?

If you want it to load your GPU less, then throttle the GPU with lesser settings, or a frame limiter.

In short, 100% GPU is what you want.

If your system is getting hot then that is a cooling issue with your machine NOT an issue with the software.

Fix it before something is damaged - I speak from experience! :steamhappy:

Exactly this.

The same error appeared after a week's pause. I thought it was because of the new monitor with HDR support, but no, the problem is in something else.

100% GPU = GOOD 100' GPU temp = BADDDDD

If dont used constant 9000 rp/m on you car then why pay for the whole engine?

Limit your frames per second to 30-60 fps.

Yes, when you are loading your car. This is why you have a throttle - to reduce load on your motor. (you should be able to push your car to max load - 9000 RPM in your silly example, else why buy a car that can go to 9000 RPM?)

OP has already been advised to the solution - throttle the card.

In short 100% GPU usage is what you want. (If your system can't handle this, i.e. overheating, this is a system issue.)
