How Easy?
No haters please......

How easy will this be? I'm too old to have to over think things.

I love a good sea warfare game but it has to be something that is doooooable by me.

Atlantic Fleet was pretty straightfoward to learn after a few hours. This looks a little more complicated

From the lot Lets Plays on YOoutube...

It looks like AI is not able to do anything, then follow a predefined path and shoot it weapons. So its mostly based on the missions you can create.

actually its very simple and intuitive ... right click on the center of the screen for the menu of the vehicles, (actually exactly onto the models) or the flat menu below the 3d picture to use stuff

If you are comfortable with RTS games and have some knowledge of the naval units and weapons you'll be fine once you figure out the interface.

It took me maybe 20 minutes to get comfortable with the interface in my first game. Then I basically parked a small naval group of destroyers and cruisers off the coast of an island and laid waste to everyone on the island.

The unit reference feature is also very useful for learning about the ranges and uses of equipment and weapons.

Do you remember Jane's Fleet Command? It is close to the same thing. It is a naval simulation.

THere is a tons more to know.

Midway is very straight forward. There are torpedo bomber, fighter, bomber. Here on a Carrier there are several types of planes with deifferent loadouts for different roles.

Also some Destroyer are good at submarine warfare, an other has longrange anti-ship missiles.

So its initial a lot harder to understand the designated roles of the units.

So far it seems pretty easy to me, though I've only played one two star mission for a decisive victory. That said I've played modern naval computer games for quite a few years, since at least Harpoon days so I have a decent understanding of the genre.

Oh if it’s anything like Jane’s Fleet Command, I’m sold. Loved that game!
