Arleigh Burke and Slava. Are these 2 ships making the cut?

Hey guys I was just wondering about this game's unit roster and if the US Arleigh Burke Destroyer and Russian Slava missile cruiser are going to make it in to the game as late period ships are going to make the roster cut.

Granted the first of the Burkes only started to come out from 1991 onward so I'm not so sure if she'll make the cut. The Slava on the other hand definitely fits the period with the first unit coming out in 1976 (just 2 years after the first Kirov). There's DEFINITELY something to be said about a warship that has missile launchers running nearly a third of the ship's length on each side <uh...well..BESIDES...AIM HERE for big kaboom :p>. Well she sure as heck left quite an impression on my 12 year old self when I saw images of one on the news when she ferried Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev to the Malta Summit in 1989 With US president George H W Bush arriving on the USS Belknap.

Slava definitely sticks out among warships image wise and would be awsome to see and command in this game. I would also like to see the Arleigh Burke (despite being a rather young little thing at that period) as she has come to serve as one of those iconic non aircraft carrier images for the missile age US navy and would still fit nicely in the game (especially since the Seawolf and Yassen were able to make it into Cold Waters).

The Slava is confirmed. However, the Burke is not in the timeframe the game is being. That being the 70's and the 80's. If the devs ever do a 90's scenario then the burkes could show up.

Cool Thanks! I figured the Slava for being likelier than the Burke. This game from what I've seen and heard sure won't disappoint.

Maybe if they recreate the South China campaign from Cold Waters, they could add the Burke. And BTW, the first Slava wasn't commissioned until 1983.

That's what I was thinking too concerning the Burke.

As for 1983 Slava comissioning well I guess it does take some time to do sea trials. Also I read that the SS-N-12 missiles that are the Slava's main armament had some initial teething issues early on.

Aber das Spiel ist doch auch im Jahr 1991, das Jahr in dem Die Zerstörer der Arleigh burke Klasse in Dienst genommen wurden. Also müsste es doch von der Zeit passen.
