I would like a different look such as a robotic dog or to play as a drone. Something non-Humanoid.
The first is rather basic, doesn't really need much explaining. I always thought playing as a loader that had an AI awakening or was reprogrammed could be interesting. However it is a rather basic and obvious idea, not one I am super enthused with.
The second idea, is more fully fleshed out with backstory, and everything. I am calling it the Beastzerker.
So the idea, is that we meet, Red (or some other ed ending name), yet another relation, to Zed, Ted, and Ned and yet another crazed scientist type. However unlike Zed and the other brothers who experiment on others and create an abomination or two, Red was all about self experimentation, and with the addition of Eridium into his projects, he ended up with a neat new ability. After mixing eridium and various pheremones and creature DNA, he made a concoction that allows him to do a therianthrope transformation, and tear some ♥♥♥♥ up.
This is basically his class ability, he injects himself with his special recipe, and then depending on how the skill tree was developed, this effects the final transformation. Develop the tree involving Rakk DNA and you may see things like wings providing limited flight, increases speed and movement, and so on and the transformation grows wings. Or use the tree involving Skag DNA, for more armor and elemental abilities, give your transformation some claws, and spit and breath attacks, etc. Then we have the last tree, focused on Bullymong DNA, which is more focused on HP, melee damage, and with the right skill down the line, gives your transformation and extra set of arms.
So yeah, the idea that has really been rolling around my head over the years, is another Zed relation becoming a vault hunter, with a whole therianthrope element to the class itself. We are on the same page on the scientist/monster idea, but I really have been letting that one cook.
A vault hunter who can call in various different types of orbital bombardments. We have the Sanctuary 3 spaceship, might as well weaponise it so we can use it as an AC-130 gunship simulator to pummel enemies from orbit.
A non-humanoid vault hunter for a change. Something like Skag, Spiderant, Rakk, etc, with a gun harness on its back where its weapons are mounted. Rakk could be interesting as it would also introduce a limited flight mechanic.
A vault hunter whose action skill is based around acrobatic movement techniques, so, a freerunner. You would activate the 'Freerunning' skill, and depending which combination of movement keys you press, you can pull various stunts like backflips, wall runs, dive rolls, spins, cartwheels, etc, and you gain increased damage and taking less damage while actively engaging enemies while you are freerunning. If you've played Severed Steel, you'll know the kinds of acrobatic movements you'll be able to do while engaging enemies in firefights.
Soldier: We've got 2 Turret users and a Mech rider/Gadgets (Zane)
- Artillery caller (though would have to find a way to make it work insider buildings)
- Power Suit: Having it be able to use various augments (Auto turrets, mechanical arms...) could be used for a Berserker one though
Berserker: Berserker, Gunserker, Beastmaster (?)/Mech Rider
- Dr. Hyde: Being able to transform into a monster
- (Siren) Gun Summoner: Being able to call guns from your inventory to shoot out of thin air (Gunzerker going further)
Assassin: Bloodwing, Decoy and gadgets (Zane)/Beastmaster
- Enemy manipulation
- Hit redirection (though already used in the Prequel with Atena iirc)
- Poisons/Alchemy: Being able to use vials to buff or debuff peoples
Siren: Going power not yet used by the players.
Also, more Moze and her Bear would be awesome.
Devs said it's going to be an entirely new cast of characters.
As for what they can do, well, I simply hope that they will differ a lot from their predecessors.
Amara, for example, felt really similar to Maya in terms of gameplay to me. So, if there's going to be a new playable siren, she'd better play A LOT more differently than Amara.
Moze is a good example, she felt nothing like Axton/Roland.
But I think that in a certain sense, Moze work more like the Berserker (Brick, Salvator), while Zane work like Roland and Axton
Zane is a mix of Assassin and Soldier
Moze of Berserker and Soldier
And Fl4k ? Not sure.
One truly new character in the series, Moze
Amara was a mixture of previous sirens, Zane is clearly a Wilhelm\Doppelganger combo, while Fl4k is an obvious Gaige\Zero package.
Honestly, I feel like Moze is now a benchmark for how I like powersuits in my games now. She had everything from miniguns, to flamers, rockets. railguns and bear claws to play around and combo-about with. And all of it was great, with the fuel mechanic and different ammo types thrown in to balance things out.
I did enjoy playing Fl4k very much too - but that was mostly due to his meatbag-cidal personality.
At this point, I feel like only Athena and Fragtrap weren't properly recycled in the series yet.
I am so sick of only Humans in the Universe. There are Alien life but only as animals. When will we meet some intelligent / sentient Alien life ??
A Robot that use fallen/broken Robot to fight with him, instead of having 1 like Gaige (or Fl4k) you get many, but they are individually weaker, with different modifiers changing what type of Summons you get
- Crypto Wolf: Get a pair
- Clap-Trap: Get 3, act as suicide bots
- Bit Bot: get 4, act as shaff
With some ability that let you summon different dead robot for a single attack, mostly past game's bosses

Siren with 'physic' based attacks instead of Elementals:
- Gravity with slams and black holes
- Breaking reality to be able to jump from 1 place to another, or cause barriers that will shield and damage enemies

Soldier from Maliwan, who is equipped with special weapons:
- Chem thrower: Use either Fuel for Fire damage (Flamer thrower) or Liquid nitrogen for Cryo Damage (Ice Thrower)
- Microwave gun: Use either Rad damage or Shock damage
- Grenade Launcher: Use either Corrosive or Explosive damage
