imo just add it already people are going to hack their guns into the game anyway and its basically a singleplayer game and if people don't want it then don't use it. Usually same people who complain about games having cheat codes because they can't help their self not to use them. Zero self control if you add in something like that people will groan and moan about it but on release they will use it. LOL
they're setting this up for something, i wouldn't be suprised if that aspect gets expanded upon in bl4.
maybe you use the "super rare" currency to reroll a stat on a gun, after a certain story mission, that'd be cool
