Suggestion: Bonsai Pots
I'd love something like a bonsai pot or planter for tree seeds along the same lines as the flower pot, so you can show a collection in your base or just decorate with them. I have a collection of each other type of organic showcased in my base, and I'd love to make it complete. Seems like it would be very little effort to code. <3

I LOVE this idea! We did apparently get some kind of tree in a pot blueprint from the new portal wrecks, although I have not come across it yet. But being able to put tree seeds in a constructed pot like the flower seeds and grow a small version of the tree would be amazing. They wouldn't have to be bonsai size, but floor pots that get maybe a bit taller than the flower pots do?

I use the flower pots all over my base and tourist cottages. It's really all we have to add color and warmth to a room besides frogs, fish, and butterflies. The trees would be a really great addition. Also this flower. I've been begging for more flowers and this is the prettiest flower on the planet (which the devs have selfishly kept for themselves). :steamsad: ;)

Not sure if I need bonsai pots, but I'd love seed for this colorful flower. When I first saw it I clicked on it, hoping I could collect it.

(Correct me if I'm wrong, but this thread seems to be only women talking 🤭)

Agreed, these would be awesome to grow - I also tried clicking on it to collect :)

It's nice to see there are men here who have an eye for beauty ;)

I know right? I tried to collect it too. :D It's so weird that we have only 4 flowers that we can reliably use in spreaders and pots. There are so many of everything else - trees, frogs, butterflies, fish. We do have the 3 rare flowers that we are only supposed to find a handful of (but everyone I know is making now with the drone exploit afraid the devs will eventually take it away) Why? Cause we need more flowers. Lol.

I call them Starflowers, and I also tried to collect them - sigh, no such luck. I'd adore having the ability to have them running through my forests under the variety of trees though... it just doesn't seem like a forest without the flowers too, not to mention the butterflies, frogs, and, maybe some day mammals too - and perhaps - long shot but sure would be wonderful! - someday maybe even birds? I would love to be able to hear some cheep trills echoing over the hills and valleys! ;-D

*cheep trills* are *always* appreciated!

Oh yah! :-)

I'm happy - I've found three new iTerra trees along with a couple other new kinds of trees in the wreaks. Found some wild bees in one of the new 'distant' biomes, too, they were apparently living in one of the wreaks and going in and out like any ole regular bee would - awesome to see, although I couldn't collect anything from them, but hey - beautiful! :-)

Yes, Iterra returns! Finally the devs have corrected the lack of earth-type trees. And I've also found the two (so far) high-percentage somewhat-earth-type trees that were added in the wrecks. Not fond of the colors, but what the hell - beggars can't be choosers.

Yes, they look rather like temperate-climate deciduous trees, don't they? The blue one could use a little more contrast, though - the leaf shape is different, but its colour is a lot like a blue spruce, sadly it's missing those darker shades that highlight and help to express those gorgeous blues. I will say, though, I've noticed that most of the other planet crafter trees actually have Terran analogs, too - most folks probably wouldn't recognize that without a long-standing interest in botany though. I admit to having a particular fondness for the iTerra, as they remind me of the giant towering cedars I grew up with. No place like home, I guess! :-)

"Cheep trills" Lol. Good one.
Love having new trees. Blue is tough on these planets because of the predominance of red and green. But both new trees look awesome (especially the gold one) with the Roseas. I have a mixed Rosea and Lillia forest and it looks like fall on Earth. Lovely. Seemed like they re-named the Sassilias?

Agree on the hue of the Pruneas. That pale blue doesn't stand up to the vivid colors of the reds and greens. If they did as you suggested and varied the blues between light and darker it would hold up better. In any case, I'm just happy to have more variety.
