New Vehicle Question

Built the new vehicle. Must say its peppy and comes with a inventory hold of 25, Not to bad. However when I upgrade it it , see no way to install it. Any one else
figured how this is done? If so please let us know. Will also say it seems like it would be great for multiplayer but so far see not that much use in single player as the jetpack is just as quick I think.

I wonder if they are going to change the look of the vehicle. The initial space suit looked like what a space suit should look like in the future. Then they changed it to look like a garbage bag. Makes me think they will change the vehicle to look like a VW bug.

I fully upgraded it and took it for a ride. Manoeuvrability is mediocre and the Rover likes to get stuck on small rocks. Climbing and speed are decent, tho.
With the O² upgrade, you can use it to explore underwater areas.
Unfortunately, it's not immune against lethal areas, like the new acid lakes, the storm area and lava.

I drove the Rover into the lava in the south, and that's where it's now stuck forever, since I can't enter it anymore. The "Drive" command does not seem to work in the lava.

Edit: there also seems to be a deathloop issue if you die inside the rover. I died while driving through the lava, respawned inside my nearest outpost, but I kept taking damage and died over and over again.
I finally managed to barely get back to the lava, jump in and die, and that's when the repeated deaths stopped.

Anyone else try to drive the new ride though the warp gate? Used a hill, built the gate low to the ground then built garage with the ramp though the gate and and more rams on the other side so that I can ride though from both sides.

I salvage my Rover form the lava by Loading up 15/Water/ 15 food swimming down unloading upgrades then deconstructing the Rover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone Find the new ship in a sealed cave near the falls. FYI I back door into it and when I found the entrance had use several explosive to clear it, only to find I was near my falls base!

Acid lakes and storms? I have sent to much time building Sub-Bases, that I have missing the surface changes!!!!!!!!!! LOL I did find the new ship that way!
