You can automate these in the autocrafter. You may have to create one by hand first before they show up in the menu.

quick and dirty formula for an automatic bioplastic farm:
-build a few habs (or preferably the biodome as it's big, plus windows and tall ceilings are nice) partly over water, partly over land, high enough to walk under.
-on adjacent land, build ore extractors set to silicon.
-on water, build lake water collectors.
-everywhere you can (on land directly, or on foundation grids over water) within autocrafter range of the biodome place mushroom farms.
-autocrafters inside churn out all the bionuggets you'll ever need.

My bioplastics are on auto craft in my base. Right on the outside on the other side of the base wall I have an atmosphere water collector, a mushroom farm, and a T3 drill set up to extract silicon. I don't need it that much, so that's enough to keep my bioplastic locker full.
