What are the requirements?

We need Oxygen, biomass, pressure and heat. But are there limits? If we have too much oxygen, the atmosphere will get kind of explosive, wouldn't it? Too much pressure and life dies off. Same with heat. I know there is a goal to reach 5 TTi, but is there a certain amount needed from each category, or can I just build 500 level 5 heaters and get the results?

You need a balance of everything to unlock new blueprints. No you can not make too many of one thing. It is just your own playstyle as to how fast you want to go or if you wanna get to a certain blueprint to unlock.

I'm around late game, and have often wondered this. Before there was a endgame, I played this many times. Like I said, was just something I wondered why there is no minimum or maximum limit to the reqs.

The Ti is just the sum of the four factors. So you can replace either of them by increasing another. You just loose the progress in the related tech branch.

People have reached 2 million parts per million of oxygen (or more). If you didn't catch that, read it again carefully. It is physically impossible in the real world to have more than one million parts per million, because that would mean your atmosphere is pure oxygen.

Don't worry about the units or applying common sense to the numbers. Bigger numbers are better, period.
